Royal Forester Dining Car For a full three course meal on the move, why not book in advance to dine aboard the 'Royal Forester Dining Car' and make it part of your day on the Dean Forest Railway. Bathurst Park Alight at Lydney Town walk to the main road and turn left up the hill and across our level crossing. Take the road on the left just past the Fire Station, and follow this along and round to the right where you will find the park on the left.

Plate-layers Buffet The Plate-layers Buffet* on platform 2 at Norchard   serves hot and cold food and drinks on all  train operating days except Thursdays and selected non-service days also.   On Thursdays you can pick this service up from the the Diesel Railcar Buffet (see below).   Available for party bookings large or small. We can cater for children's parties, birthdays, anniversaries, lunches, afternoon teas for example.   For a really special occasion we can provide mouth-watering buffets on the Saloon Coach for smaller groups to travel on the Dean Forest Railway line.
