ONE AMAZING DAY FOR YOUNGSTERS (AND MUMS, DADS AND GRANDPARENTS)!

Sir Topham says "Your ticket covers the whole day and there is nothing else to pay!"

Doors open at 0930hrs and as long as Sir Topham Hat, the Fat Controller is able to wake up Thomas, he puffs into the platform at about 0945hrs for the start of a fun packed day (Its very difficult to keep a young engine like Thomas under control!) Thomas' first task is to find the coaches for the "big" train, pull them into the platform and then we're off on an action packed fun day.

But will Sir Topham be able to keep control?

There is so much to see and do, and Sir Topham insists that its all included in your great value ticket - there's nothing else to pay!

These include:

Unlimited travel on the steam train to Lydney Junction.
Story-telling trip into the forest all the way to Parkend in Daisy the Diesel
Rides in Toad the brake van pulled by Thomas - Look out for Sir Topham Hatt!
Devious Diesel and the Troublesome Trucks will be providing entertainment.
Miniature railway rides, Face painting, Punch & Judy, a Roundabout and Competition with prizes.
The Imagination Station - Thomas & Friends DVD screenings, Story Telling, colouring pages & table-top toys.
Children's entertainer travels on the steam train.
Thomas and Diesel race.
Junior Engineer Certificate for all children riding.

Please note: Thomas does not pull passenger trains as he is involved in giving visitors rides at Norchard Station in the Toad the guard's Brakevan.

Last trains depart about 1600 hrs each day.

Thomas says he always enjoys visiting the Dean Forest Railway and he will be up to his usual

tricks this year and is looking forward to meeting you on the platform at Norchard station. If you are really good he will give you a ride in 'Toad' the brakevan.

LOTS OF TRAINS TO RIDE ON!

Steam train rides are from Norchard (large free car park here!) to Lydney Junction.

If you are coming to see Thomas and travelling to Lydney on the big railway from Gloucester or Newport directions, catch trains to Norchard from our Lydney Junction station which is close to the main line station. Trains call at Lydney Town and St.Mary's Halt stations in each direction, so you can get out for a walk around the park, the lake, or the town itself. Daisy the Diesel also departs from Norchard station.

REGULAR STORY TELLING RIDES ON DAISY THE DIESEL!

Daisy the Diesel will be running into the forest from Norchard Station for popular story-telling trips to Parkend. Daisy returns to Norchard so you can catch a steam train to Lydney or ride in Toad the Brakevan at Norchard.

Three rides and a host of activities all included in the one entrance price. Nothing more to pay!!
